It's been a crazy cake month!

So this whole cake thing has really taken off. I have had several orders come in this month. Hopefully they all enjoyed them and they keep coming!

This is a cake for one of Heather's (my sister) co-workers. Her daughter turned 2 and LOVES mickey.

Next was one of Rachel's (another sister) friends. She wanted a zebra cake and loves purple. ** This is my favorite one so far. It was so much fun to make!!!

Finally, I got to do my first wedding. Kolby Peterson and Jordin were sealed for Time and Eternity to each other and to their little girl this weekend. They asked me to do some cupcakes and a small cake for the top and here it is. Congrats to your family and thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!

Kolsen's Super Hero Birthday

I can't believe my little guy is 5!!! He is growing so fast and is such a wonderful kid! He keeps me laughing and on my toes. He wanted to have a super hero party this year, but couldn't decide which hero he wanted. So we did a little of it all. We had family and friends over and had a blast! I made all the kids these capes with their Letter.

They were so excited to wear them!

The decorations

The cupcakes

All the cousins and friends. We played throw the ball at Iron man's Hand and Silly string the bad guys on the wall.  (video coming soon)

Why they are all trying to fit in the car... I don't know.
These two just wanted the treats!

Present time!

This is all we could see. We couldn't get around the huddle of little boys. It was so funny!

The most amazing hat my sister made him. He loved it!!!

The final one

He got a big boy bike since he outgrew his other one and doesn't need training wheels anymore.

Thanks to all who came and helped us celebrate. He loved all the gifts and having everyone together. Happy Birthday my Kolsen. We love you!!

Callie's 3rd Birthday

My little Callie turned 3 yesterday!!! I can't believe she is already that big.  She is growing into a beautiful little girl and we have had so much fun with her. Right now she loves to sing and dance, she loves to do everything her big brother does, she is always hungry and asking for food, she has really come out of her shell and is not as shy anymore, always tells everyone that they are beautiful or handsome, we are growing out her bangs and she won't leave any clips in so her hair is always in her face, she loves to play dress up and she can scream louder than anyone I have ever heard. (Not a good thing sometimes) :-) Here are some pictures from her party.

Her "Tangled" cake. She asked for this for weeks!

When everyone got there she just stood in the middle of the room so we asked what she wanted and she said "Sing to me". So we all laughed and sang happy birthday to her. She was so funny!

My sister Kim knitted her the cutest vest ever!! Callie was such a girl and would do a little show every time she got clothes.

Here is Cael loving callie's new blanket.

We love our little girl and are so lucky to have her in our family!! LOVE you Callie!

Who knew kids loved Coupons???

My kids have found their new favorite thing. COUPONS! I think they love them as much as I do. It started out with gathering up all the leftover papers that I cut and having a snowball fight with them. They would wad them up into a ball and we would throw them at each other.  Yesterday it changed to burying each other and making paper angels.  Why do we even buy toys when leftover paper is so much fun? I think they just like it because they can make a huge mess and I play with them in it instead of making them clean it up. So much fun!!! I LOVE my kids!!!
Can you find my little Callie?

Most recent Cakes

Here are some of the cakes I have done the past few months.

This was for my grandpa Bosworth who loves to golf.  He is the sweetest person you will ever meet and he loves to laugh at everything. He turned 71 so  Jason thought it would be funny to turn the 71 around for him. Love ya Grandpa!

Today I just finished my first cupcake order for the Durham Family in our ward. They are good friends of ours and their grandaughter was having a "Tangled Birthday party" and they wanted some cupcakes to go with their cake. They were my very first one's so they are not perfect but hopefully they liked them.  I had fun making them and the strawerries and cream cake turned out delicious!!!

I have had so much fun making cakes and I hope to get better and better. I need practice so if anyone is interested in ordering let me know!

First Trip to the Dentist

So we found the BEST dentist in the world for the Kids a few days ago. He is in Peoria and we LOVE him!!! Kolsen and Callie were so excited to go and get their teeth cleaned and get a check up. They both did fabulous and had so much fun. When I asked them what their favorite part was they both said "The rides in the chair". The doctor saw that Kolsen was really interested in the buttons on the chair so he showed them how they all work and let him try them all out. It was like a roller coaster to him! Callie was a little nervous at first but the assistant she got was perfect for her. She was so sweet and she turned her around and showed her all the instruments and how they worked and gave them all funny names. Like the "Tickle tooth brush". She also let callie hold this flavored mouth spray that she loved as a bribe. It was so much fun and I know that not many people can say that about a dentist apt. If anyone needs a good pediatric dentist. Let me know!!

Kolsen's teeth looked great. He only had a small cavity on his lower tooth because he grinds his teeth but other than that his were perfect.

My little Callie on the other hand...Is missing one of her permanent teeth. When we took this picture it showed 3 front teeth forming under the gums but the other front tooth was no where to be found. So she will be missing her very front tooth her whole life. There is a lot that can be done but I am still praying that it just comes late.

Over all it was a great trip and a very good experience for the kids. They are already asking to go back.

Kolsen's New Adenture!!!

Well here is our newest Bike Rider. Jason and I took him out to try a few days ago and he wanted to learn but was a little nervous. Jason worked with him for about an hour and we could tell he was done. So we went inside. Then later that day I took him out again and thought we would give it another shot. He started to get the hang of it but he would pedal a few times and just stop pedaling and give up. I couldn't get him to understand that if he would keep pedaling he would stay up. After a few min of trying our neighbor Jeremy (who Kolsen adores!!!) came out to see if he could help. He tried a few times too and gave me a great idea. There is an empty field around the corner from our house where kids will go to ride bikes and jump the dirt mounds. He told me to take him there and show him what he could do when he learned and that it would get him excited about doing it. It totally worked! When we got back he got on that bike, told me he could do it by himself and took off. It was so awesome! He has been doing great ever since! In the video you can tell he is so proud of what he accomplished and now when ever he can't do something he says "Oh yeah..I just have to keep trying and not give up!" He learned a great lesson that day. I LOVE this little guy so much and it has been so much fun to watch him grow! I LOVE being a mom!!!

Callie was feeling a little left out and kept saying "Mom tape me!" So here is my little callie and her little bike! Now for her birthday all she wants is a Rapunzel bike. I think he got her excited too!

Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas this year. We got to spend lots of time with our family and relax and enjoy the day. We are so grateful for all of our blessings and the wonderful people we have in our lives. We got to go to Jason's family on Christmas Eve and spend time with them.

Debbie and Alan bought Kim and I these cute jackets but no matter how we took the picture it came out like this. We look like super hero's or something! Kinda Cool looking!

Christmas Day:

Here are the kids before they got to see their gifts...Dressed in their christmas PJ's

I could not get him to look up for anything!

My beautiful Callie

Callie was so funny because she didn't want to open any gifts until she got a cracker. That girl and her food! Then when we did get to the gifts she would open one that was fun to play with and she was done and didn't care about openning the other presents. Kolsen on the other hand didn't want to stop opening the gifts. He didn't care what was in them he just wanted to open the next. It is so funny how different they are.

Practicing her new curling iron on Grandma.

Kim made this for her. So pretty!

Here are all the cousins (minus Evan) with their reindeer ears! Christmas was so much fun this year! We have such great families and I am so thankful for all we have!!!
