Spring Break!!!

We went to the zoo with my family while Kolsen was out of school. We had a blast and the kids had a ton of fun seeing all of the animals. Kolsen was so excited to go, that he went in his closet and picked this shirt out to wear so he could find all the animals while we were there. He is so funny! This picture of him with his ticket says it all!!! Here are all the kids at the start of our adventure. As you can see Callie was very mad that she couldn't walk and had to sit in a stroller.

Jessica I can't see these without thinking of you!!!

It was such a fun day and we found all of the animals on Kolsen's shirt so he was happy! Thanks mom and dad for the fun trip!!!

My Little Big Girl!!!

So My little girl is officially becoming a Big Girl. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She has been so much fun these past few months and we are enjoying every minuet with her. She has adjusted to her bed with no problems. It has been 2 weeks now and I keep waiting for her to fight us, but to this day every time we tell her it is bed time she says "My princess bed!!!" Then she runs right in there and gets into bed. It is awesome! We love her and are so glad that she is in our family.

Kolsen wanted to sleep in it too!

Our Relief Society Birthday Party

This year for the Relief Society Birthday we decided to do a birthday party. It was a lot of fun and I found a jeopardy game that helped us learn a lot about Relief Society.  We made it a breakfast and made wonderful pancakes and syrup.  What is better than that.  We decorated the tables acording to your birthday month so we could sit by new people and get to know eachother a little better.  I think it turned out pretty cute and we had a lot of fun.  Thanks to all those who helped!

The Garden

Here is our New Garden!!! Yeah!!! It was so much fun to plant it and have the kids help. I think I need to start our story with the fact that we live right in front of a school and we started laying down the potting soil right when school got out. We all know how good that smells!! So not 2 minutes after we got it all on, some boy's walked by our back fence and said "What is that smell!! It smells like horse crap!! That's gross what is that?"  They continued to say it all the way down the street and as soon as they were out of hearing distance Jason and I fell apart. We laughed all day about it. Our timing couldn't have been better.

He thought it was fun to throw the stinky bags in the trash

Helping Dad mix the dirt around. After about 2 turns he said "this is to hard for boys. I think you should do it"
Pushing in the seeds
Wanting to help but not knowing what to do
Here, I will help play with the dirt.
Now let me try this thing
Here is the finished product.  Not much yet, but when it starts to grow we will post more pictures. We planted: Corn, strawberries, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, artichokes, and lettuce. I think we will have a pretty good salad when they are done growing!
