Projects With Lots Of Help

This is what all of Jason's projects look like. If he walks out the front door other than to go to work or school, Kolsen is at his side "helping" with whatever he can. Today's task was to fill in the big sink hole we got in our front yard from all of the rain. Do you like his make sift wheel barrel? It looks like I know what to get him for his birthday! It is so cute to watch Kolsen admire his daddy and want to be like him already. I can't wait for the time when he grows up and can really help, instead of dumping dirt all over himself. I am so grateful to have the husband I do who is a hard worker and to have such a wonderful little boy. They give me joy beyond measure!!! They are both way cute too!!!

An everyday weekend

Not to much has gone on this week, so I thought I would share a few pictures that we took. The quality of the pictures are horrible but you can still get the idea. The first few are of Daddy giving Kolsen a bath and playing with his hair. He was also making him laugh hysterically by blowing bubbles on him. It was so cute!

Here are some of me at 27 weeks. I have all of a sudden popped out and feel really big. I know I have a long way to go, but it is all worth it in the end. Hope everyone is doing good!

OUR BELOVED PRESIDENT

A wonderful version of "How Great Thou Art" that I stole from Kim.

As most of you have heard, our Beloved president has passed away. President Hinckley was a wonderful man and as amazing prophet of our church. He was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed! The best tribute of all for him would be to follow in his legacy of learning all he could and being an amazing example of how every person should live their lives. I am so grateful that he is with our Father in Heaven and with his sweet wife and I know the Heavens are rejoicing for receiving such a wonderful person. What made it even harder for me, was that last night we had our monthly FHE at our house for the Davis family and I gave a lesson on Obeying our Prophet and on the Proclamation To The World. I shared my testimony on how much I loved our Prophet today and knew that he was called of God. Just shortly after we were done, we received the phone call from my mom. It was a sad ending but I know he is so much happier where he is now. I love you President Hinckley and thank you for all you have done!

My favorite one of Daddy and his little boy

This is my favorite because of what it represents. I wish Jason and I had taken a picture of this moment because it was one of the most exciting, scary, nervous, anxious, wonderful moments of my life and I will never forget the moment that I saw Jason again after two years. I love him so much and am so glad that we get to spend eternity together.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the temple and it is one of my favorite places on earth to be!

My favorite look that Kolsen does. I call it his "SNEAKY" look.

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. DAVIS

Saturday was the big day for Kimberly and Cameron. They were sealed together in the Mesa AZ Temple at 10:00am. It was a beautiful ceremony and they had lots of family and friends there. They are such a beautiful couple and I know they will have so much fun learning and growing together. I love you guys!

Then we had a luncheon and the reception later that night. It was very beautiful and everything went pretty smooth. There was lots of pictures followed by food and dancing. We got everyone out on the dance floor and the little one's were so cute. I didn't have my camera so I couldn't get pictures of it but Kolsen, Kernan, Bode and all the other little cousins and friends were on fire. They loved to dance and were bouncing to the music. It was adorable!!!
We had to wake Kolsen up early to go to the temple so he was a little grouchy and you can see how his daddy handle's that. No sympathy!!!

My Baby isn't a Baby anymore!!!

We have hit a big milestone this past week. Since Jason has been on break for school and have had some days off together we decided that now would be a good time to move the kids bedrooms around and get Kolsen's Big Boy room set up. We started a few days after Christmas and put the mattress to his bed on the floor (so he wouldn't fall off the bed) and all of his toys in there. He was so excited about moving everything and laying on the bed that we figured we would try it and see how he does. It has been over a week now and he has done amazing!!! The first and second nights when we came out in the morning we found him asleep on the couch, but since then he takes naps and sleeps there all night long. He loves it and whenever I say "It's Nap Time" he goes running to his room and jumps in his bed. He is such a good little boy. We are so spoiled. Also ignore the comforter. Kolsen got really sick this weekend and threw up all over his other one.

So since he is all settled in his room now, I wanted to get Kallie's (I thought I would try this name out) room situated. I got all of her bedding washed and put in the crib and now all we have to do is paint both rooms and get the Playroom/Foster room set up. It feels so good when you accomplish all the things you wanted to do. We have tons more projects around the house, but I don't think those ever stop.

We also finished my Christmas present. The kids bathroom is finally done and painted. It looks so cute and I love the set that Jason bought. Here are a few pictures:

Kolsen loves the bathroom too because every time he goes in he has to walk right up to the curtain and growl like a Lion or make monkey sounds. It is so cute!!!

Christmas pictures

Here are some fun Christmas pictures we took to give as gifts. They turned out pretty good but Kolsen is making a goofy face in our family one. We put the camera on a stand and it took 6 quick ones in a row and that was the best one.
