We went to the Richardson's Christmas party a few nights ago. It was a lot of fun to see everyone and Kolsen got to see Santa for the first time. He loved it. He thought Santa was pretty funny, and then he gave him a candy cane. It was all over from there. We opened it and let him have a taste and he didn't want to put it down. Lexi (our niece) also got to see Santa. She looked so cute in her little red dress. It is fun having a little girl around. It was a fun night and we are very excited for Christmas to come. Also, the other picture was just me messing around with an old camera I found that had just a few pictures left.
The quality definitely isn't the same as the digital cameras.

My First Hair Cut

Kolsen got his first Hair cut yesterday. He did such a good job and enjoyed that sucker so much. The only time he moved was when Jason used the little trimmer by his ear. It vibrated a lot and it mad him shiver. But other than that he did great. We didn't realize how bad he needed one until we started cutting. He had a lot more hair than we thought. It turned out really cute, but it makes him look much older. I can't believe how fast he is growing up! Jason had fun doing it and after we were done he went right into the bath tub! He was messy!!!

All Clean!!!

What Happens In VEGAS Stays In VEGAS!

Jason and I had such a blast this weekend. We went to Jason's company Christmas party in Las Vegas. We got to stay in the Bellagio and our room had the most Georgous view. The famous fountains were right out our window and we would watch them every hour. It was beautiful and it was a very exciting hotel. The only bad thing was that every time you wanted to leave or return to your room you would end up smelling like smoke because you had to walk through the casino. The dinner was wonderful too. It was a black tie event so we dress up and had a fancy dinner and night on the town. One of the highlights was that Jason was recognized and got an award. Some great things were said about him by Mark (his boss) and he was praised for his hard work and high integrity. He is such a good worker and an honest person and I am so lucky to have him as my husband. I am really proud of him and the wonderful man that he is. One of the main reasons he is this way is because of his wonderful parents. Alan and Debbie
taught him all he knows and they also received a very high award and were recognized for all that they do for the company.
It was also the first time we have left kolsen for more than a couple hours. It was a little hard at first, but we got through it and he had a great time with my family and I am sure he loved all the attention.

Here Comes Trouble!!!

AND THE FUN BEGINS! Kolsen is very mobile now and is getting into everything. He is not officially crawling, but it is amazing how fast he can army crawl across the room. His latest thing is to find a tiny space and try to crawl into it. He has been successful, but the problem comes when he can't get out. It is quite funny, except for when I come into the room and can't find him. He has done that several times but all I have to do is listen for grunting and squeals of delight because he knows he is being sneaky. It is funny how young kids learn that. It has made us realize how non child proof our house is.

FUN WITH ALL MY FRIENDS

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope your holiday was as good as ours. We had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends and eating 3 Thanksgiving meals. We had plenty of food to say the least. It was also fun because we had some friends and family come in from out of town, so we went to a waterfall and took some pictures of all the kids. It is fun because they are all so close in age and so cute that pictures turned out great! We also find out that our son is going to be a very active child. While everyone else sat nicely and looked at the cameras, Kolsen was turning around and pulling on bode's sleeve or touching Kamden or just moving for no reason. We knew he was going to be a crazy kid cause his dad can't sit still either, but we had no idea it would be this crazy. It was fun though and he will keep me in good shape I guess. Well, I should probably let you know who the kids are huh. In the top picture I will name the kids starting from the left. There is Kernan Mandile, Bode Joncas, Kolsen Davis, and Kamden Brooks. I hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed the time off.

MY FIRST TEETH!!!

Well they are finally here. After a few sleepless nights Kolsen's first two teeth came through. He is having so much fun using them and biting on everything in sight, including our hands. We just thought we would show them off and let our friends know that he was the first to get teeth. It might be the only "FIRST" thing he does of the group. He is also all over the place. He has learned to army crawl and is into everything now. We just put up our Christmas decorations and tree, so we will see how long it takes him to get into that. It has been fun having him mobile because we will put him down into the family room and go to the kitchen to eat and with in a few minutes he will be at our feet wanting some food. We are loving it.

Happy Halloween!

We had so much fun on Halloween. We went trick or treating with the Holly, Craig, Alan and Debbie. Chase and Mallory had so much fun and Kolsen just sat in the stroller and had a ball. When I say sat I mean squished. His costume was so puffy that he barely fit. It was so cute! The funniest thing of the night was that at the first house we went to chase rang the door bell and when they answered he walked right in. He didn't get the concept of trick or treating yet. He thought we were visiting. It was so cute and we had a good laugh. He got the hang of it after that. When the kids were done we went back to Holly and Craig's and let them have some candy and Kolsen got to have another sucker. He really loves those things!

YUMMY!!!

It is amazing how fast your kids grow up. Kolsen is so funny about doing everything we do. He loves to drink water out of our cups and yesterday Jason and I had suckers from the Halloween party and Kolsen kept grabbing them from us so we let him have some for a minuet or two. You can see how much he loved it. To see it Click this http://s125.photobucket.com/albums/p61/natalsd/?action=view¤t=MVI_0057.flv

Trunk or Treat

Rooooar!!! What a fierce looking lion huh! This is Kolsen's costume. Cute huh. He loved wearing it. Every time we held it up he would grab at it and when we put it on, he would give us a huge smile. I think he knew how cute he looked. He also loved to chew on the strap under his chin. We got him to growl at a few people to so it was exciting. We had so much fun at the Halloween party. There was a good turn out of people and lots of fun games and scary haunted houses. There were so many cute outfits and creative costumes. One of our friends dressed up in all John Deer stuff and rode a tractor playing the song, "You think my tractors sexy." It was hilarious!

LEXI

Here are some more cute pictures of our new niece. She is doing good, but her jondac is getting worse. So they have to keep her on a UV blanket most of the day. I guess it is pretty normal so we are not worried, but it stinks that they can't hold their brand new baby very much. Heather is doing good also. She looks great and loves being able to see past her tummy!

SHE'S FINALLY HERE!!!

We would like to introduce you to our brand new niece. Her name is LEXI JACKSON. She was born on October 25th and weighed 6lb 14oz (which was exactly what Kolsen was) and was 20 in. long. She is a beautiful little girl and is so tiny. It is amazing to think that ours was that small once. Well, Mom and baby are doing great and Spencer is so excited to finally have his little girl here. In one of the pictures of the next day, Kolsen was feeling left out so we threw him in a picture with his new cousin and his aunt and uncle. He loves her already and wanted so bad to grab her. He just kept looking at her and you could tell that he was thinking "why is that blanket moving." She is such a precious little girl and we are so glad that she is here and everything went good with the delivery. They hopefully get to go home today so they can start adjusting to the wonderful life of parenthood.

THE FIRST SLEEP OVER

Well, Heather and Spencer finally had the baby and we wanted to go see them at the hospital so we had Brian and Jess watch Kolsen. It got a little late so he slept over for a few hours till we got home. The fun ended for the boys at about 11:00, but it was fun while it lasted. I'm sure there will be many more!

WELCOME

Welcome
We wanted to start something to let everyone know how we are doing and to show off our new son so we decided to start a blog. Our family is doing great. Jason is doing very well and really enjoys working for Home America. He works for a home management company and does mostly leasing but is also selling homes and all kinds of work in the real estate field. The company is going through a lot of changes and is growing very large so we are excited to see what is to come in the future. I am doing great also. I have gone back to work for Dr. John's for a couple of months because one of the ladies I worked with had to go in for surgery. It has been fun, but I miss spending time with Kolsen. I know that he is having fun with the Grandma's though so it hasn't been to bad. One thing I know is that I have gained so much respect for working mom's. It is a hard job to go to work and then come home and take care of the house and your family. I don't know how they do it and I have so much respect for those that do. This picture is one that I thought was cute of our family. We are big ASU fans are we went to the game last Saturday. It was Kolsen's first game and it was fun, but it was an afternoon game and way to hot. O well, that is what we get for living in Arizona I guess. Well, that is the update with us and we are loving being parents. There is nothing more special than watching your child grow and learn all about themselves, about you and about the world around them.

WHAT A CUTIE!

This is our son Kolsen. He is 5 months old now and is growing up so fast and getting more and more fun everyday. He is learning so many new things every time we turn around such as rolling over, but his newest one is to spit. He sticks his tongue out at you and blows and makes a spitty mess everywhere. But it is so cute that we can stop him cause we are laughing so hard. He also likes to pose. He loves his picture taken (as you can tell) and when ever we sit him on the couch he looks like this. He is such a joy to have and we love having him in our family.
