Callie's Shower
We were finally able to have a baby shower for Callie this weekend. It was a lot of fun and I am so thankful for all those who could come. I think Callie has so many clothes that she could wear a different outfit every day until she is 2. We got so many cute outfits at the shower and we have been given so many clothes of all sizes by friends and family that have saved us so much money it is crazy. Which is good because we are losing so much to pay for Jason' school right now. Thank you again to all those who came and enjoyed a nice day with us.
Camping
While we were at the shower the boys went camping at Father and Sons. They had a lot of fun and filled the kids with all kinds of junk and because they are men we got absolutely no pictures of the whole trip. They drive me crazy sometimes! I am glad that they had fun!
Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to my mom and Debbie and all the wonderful mom's out there! I think I have the best mom's in the world and I am so thankful for all that they do for us and our family's. They are amazing, strong, righteous women who I look to for everything. They are such a great example of what a perfect mom should be and I hope I can raise my kids as good as they raised us. Thank you and we love you and are proud to be your kids!
I do have to brag about my hubby for a minuet and he would be totally embarrassed if he found out that I posted this, but o well! We had a really long night with Callie and didn't get much sleep, so when it came time to get up with Kolsen Jason jumped out of bed and told me that I could sleep in and he would take care of everyone. I know that is something small and it doesn't sound like a big deal, but that was the best gift he could have given me that day. Then when I woke up he brought me a vase filled with all the different flowers from our yard that him and Kolsen had picked. It was so cute and the flowers looked so gorgeous in the vase he had. It was so sweet and meant so much more than any store bought flowers would have!!! Then through out the day he was still very sweet and made it such a special day for me. I love Jason so much and am so thankful everyday that I have him by my side!!! I love you JASE!
Here are some Mother's Day pictures of the kiddo's. Kolsen hiding from the camera. Cool picture Rachel!
My little girl awake and happy. This is a rare occurrence, but a cherished one!!! She is like her brother and loves to be outside. Whenever she is fussy it helps to get some fresh air. She has also lost tons of hair on top of her head. She is going to be bald with the old man ring! O well, she is still a cutie!! Thank Heaven for Bows!!!
Grandma's strawberry pie! Gotta love the messy face. Mother's Day entertainment. I can't believe we didn't break the thing!!!

Happy Late Birthday Kolsen!!!

My baby a few weeks old
My baby at 1 years old
My big boy at his 2nd Birthday last week. I can't believe how fast the time goes when you have kids. It is so hard to think that we have already had him for two years. He had a fun little birthday party with our family and got lots of fun gifts from everyone. Even though some of them are being used for weapons (thanks Kim and Cam)!!! Just kidding he loved the golf clubs that you got. They play with them all the time. Thanks you to all those who came! Kolsen had a blast. I am so glad that we have such a good little boy. We are so spoiled to have him.
His "blowing up a balloon" pose.
This is a really cute shirt Heidi made for the boys. It says " Warning I am Two." Which totally fits right now!
Yummy cake
The boys and there clubs.
Kolsen needs a little more practice!!!

THE STORE IS NOW AN ADVENTURE!!!
Well, I had my first two kid shopping trip. It was quite the experience! I took Kolsen and Callie to Fry's a few days ago all by myself and they didn't have any of those CAR shopping carts so I had to use a regular one. Which meant that Callie sat in front with her car seat and I had to put Kolsen in the back with all of our groceries. Kolsen has never sat in the back before so he was very excited. A little too excited because by the time we were done every box we had was opened, we had spilled half a bottle of Windex on the floor, the package of hot dogs had several bite marks on them, and I had to load the groceries in the cart myself after they were bagged because the girl didn't want to put them next to him. It was very interesting and we will definitely be teaching him how to either walk along side the cart or that he needs to help me load and unload so he has something to do. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!! I don't know how people with more kids do it! He is such a good little boy and I know it could have been much worse so I guess I shouldn't complain too much! KIDS MAKE LIFE SO MUCH FUN!!!

My Beautiful Baby Girl!!!
Rachel has really become interested in photography these last few months and just got a really nice camera from my parents so I thought it would be fun for her to take some pictures of Callie. She did such a good job and I wanted to show them off, so here are some of the amazing pictures she took. She is so talented and I can't wait for her to develop her talent even further and see what she can do. Thank you and good job Rachel!!!

WE HAVE IDENTICAL BABIES!!!
OK, so we took a picture of Callie today because she had just gotten a bath and her hair was sticking up really cute. As we were looking at it I thought it looked really familiar, so I looked through Kolsen's baby pictures and found this. I am so amazed at how much they look a like. I don't think you could tell them apart except that Callie has a pink Blanket. CRAZY!!! We are going to be one of those families that the kids all look the same. It is those strong DAVIS genes!!! Which is a very good thing. I just hope some Richardson genes come through at some point in our kids.

She is in a bit of a hurry...
Hello everyone~
This is Jessica (friend, neighbor, cousin:) I thought everyone in Natalie's "blog family" would want to hear the latest happenings in the Davis house... No there is no baby, but she could be here sooner rather then later! Here's the story:
Natalie went in Monday morning for a normal doctor's appointment and mentioned to Dr. Erickson that she had been having contractions, nothing serious, but they decided to check and see if she had dilated at all. So he checked her and Natalie said his eyes got really big and he told her that she was at 4cm and her water was going to break at any minute! So he sent her right over to the hospital. She got hooked up to all the machines and found out she was contracting every 2 minutes! So they have stopped those yesterday finally, because she still has about 5 1/2 weeks left, they did another ultrasound yesterday and found out that the first lady that did it and told them she was almost 5lbs was wrong! She is almost 4lbs! So she is still just a little to tiny to make her entrance! Natalie has to stay in the hospital until she arrives, she is already going crazy!! Poor thing! She has been given 2 steroid shots to help her lungs develop faster and the baby has passed every non stress test so far, so they both are doing good, just bored!
Everyone who is wondering about the shower that is supposed to be this Saturday... It's been postponed until after she is here! So hopefully no one will show up to the Davis's on Saturday! ;)
And because Jessica can't post without a picture... Here is one I took a year ago of Kolsen!!

The Phoenix Zoo

We have had such an eventful week this week. Jason has had spring break so we have been able to some fun family things. One of which was a trip to the phoenix zoo. We had so much fun and Kolsen loved to see the animals and get to run around. The only bad thing was on Tuesday or Wednesday he got a bug and has had diarrhea. So we would have to check him every few minuets to make sure it wasn't getting everywhere. Pretty gross I know, but the poor guy did such a good job and still had a lot of fun even though he didn't feel very good. He is doing much better now and hopefully the bug is through his system. We have gone through almost 2 packages of Costco diapers in the past 4 days which tells you how bad it was. Other than that we have been doing pretty good and have just been staying busy around the house and getting ready to pop this baby out. She is getting so big and you can see her moving so much now. I have started having contractions (just braxton hicks which aren't too bad) so I know she is getting ready to come. We are so excited to have her here and can't wait to meet her and introduce her to Kolsen. I have heard that it is a good idea to get the older kid a gift for when they come to see the new baby at the hospital. Did anyone else do this and if so, what kinds of things did you get? We would love to hear some suggestions. Hope everyone is doing good!!!

Big Truck Little Truck

We have added to our white collection (not by choice). Jason just recently switched areas in the company and now runs the maintenance department. It was very nice because the company bought him a brand new truck so that he could haul stuff out of homes and do any simple clean up as he inspects the home. So now we have 3 cars in our driveway that are all white. Also, yesterday our wonderful neighbors gave us a power wheels truck for Kolsen that their son had grown out of. It is so cute and he absolutely loves it. We took it for a ride in the park today and as much as Kolsen loved it I think DADDY had more fun than him. I love my boys and could watch them play together all day long! Here are some pictures of the new rides.

Random things
Well, life at the Davis home has slowed way down and not much is going on. We were able to go to Aaron's homecoming talk yesterday and he did a wonderful job! He gave such a sweet talk and shared some cute stories about his mission to Costa Rico. Welcome home Aaron! Other than that Jason has been working and Kolsen and I have just been hanging around. Here are some random cute pictures of him and his Cheesy grin. Also here is a picture of me at 30 weeks. If she keeps growing fast, I will hopefully go a few weeks early and will have about 8 weeks left. Yeahhhh. Being pregnant is a lot of fun, but I am getting ready to be done and have our little girl in our family.

Ultra sound photos

Like I said, we didn't get any good pictures of her and they look even worse on the blog but here they are. You can still see her cute nose and mouth and she had her hand under her chin like she was posing. It is so neat that technology will allow us to do this. The other crazy thing is (in the bottom picutre) the doctor said that the thing up by her left eye is her foot. It is so wierd to think that babies are so flexable, but I guess they would have to be to fit in your tummy.

SHE'S GONNA BE BIG!!!
Well, we went to the doctor today for our 3D ultra sound and found out that Kallie is MORE than healthy. By that I mean she is HUGE and already weighs 3lb. 14oz. That is the 95% for how far along I am and about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. So that means that depending on how fast she continues to grow Dr. Erickson said that he wants to take the baby at least 2 weeks early if I have not had her by then. He doesn't want her to get to big because I am so small and I don't think my body could handle that. OK I am sure it could but I would rather not give birth to a 6 month old. Anyways she is doing really good and has a good heart rate. She didn't want to cooperate for the pictures though so we didn't get very many good ones. She was facing my back at first and then she snuggled up to the placenta and we couldn't get a full front view of her face, but you can still tell that she will be beautiful. Our scanner is down so as soon as we fix it I will post them. It is always reassuring to see her and to hear her heart beat to know that she is ok in there. It got me really excited to meet her and to see how Kolsen will do being a big brother.

Cute Story and a Family Update
I love the innocence of kids and the cute things they do. To preface the story Jason loves to put things under Kolsen's shirt so he can't get them out and Kolsen loves it. Well, we were making dinner last night and he was helping us in the kitchen when he came over to my tummy and said "BALL." I didn't understand him at first and then he said it again and tried to lift up my shirt to see what was under there. It was so funny and it had Jason and I rolling. I bet that is hard for kids to understand. Anyways, we are doing good over here. The baby is getting a lot stronger and keeping me up at night, which is fine cause I don't sleep anyways. She is getting to the point that you can watch my tummy go crazy at night. She gets really active about 9:00 at night and goes strong for about an hour. It is a very strange but fun feeling. It also reassures me that she is still growing good. We have our 3D ultra sound next Monday so we will hopefully get some good pictures of her.
Jason is doing alright too. He is very busy with his school classes and working full time, but he is so good about making time for Kolsen and I still. He also received a new calling that will help out a lot. He and Brian are in scouts and have activity's every Tuesday night. He said it is a lot of fun and now he can rest on Sundays and not have to teach a lesson. Our ward also split yesterday. We were in desperate need of it. Bishop said that we had 300 members a year ago when the stake split and we grew to 774 members. It is good to see so much growth, but it is so hard to get to know anyone when there are that many new people every week. So we will see how much the split helped next week. Our time changed to 8:00 too which is so much better than 1:30.
Kolsen is doing awesome too except for sleeping. I thought we were so lucky when he loved his bed so much in the beggining and slept good through the night but boy was I wrong!!! He for the last two weeks has been waking up several times a night and coming into our room crying. Some times you can tell that it was a bad dream but usually he just heard a noise. He is a very light sleeper (like Jason) and if he hears anything he gets scared and comes running in. It has gotten to the point that if he comes in more than once or twice we have to put the monitor in there and lock the door so he can't get out. I am sure it is just a phase, but it is so hard to know he is scared of his big room and there is not much I can do about it. If anyone has any good ideas we would love to hear them. Well, I will stop rambling on about us. It is only Monday and I am already wishing it was the weekend. Hope everyone has a good week!
